At +10 it’s a monster esp with good gems. If you’re maining the Cane, i definitely recommend Skill to 50. Cane scales with that and so do your viscerals so it’s a great combo. Skill is a stat in Bloodborne. Some Weapons scale their damage based on your Skill stat, therefore this is an important stat to level if you are planning a Skill Build. Notes. Skill (scales your Skill based weapons) softcaps at 25, hardcaps at 50. Some Blood Gems affect this stat.It scales better with Skill than the Cleaver and is arguably the better weapon - thrust attacks, serrated damage on both forms. Threaded Cane is also Skill, but I've never been a huge fan of it. Later on, the Beasthunter Saif, Blades of Mercy, Church Pick, Rakuyo, or Burial Blade are all good Skill scaling choices. Best is subjective, but the Saw Spear is available really quickly. The Blade of Mercy is too, though you’ll have to work a bit harder for that. Threaded Cane is a beast! The threaded crutch. Saw spear, why not just get the second best weapon in the game. Mostly because it's just a second saw cleaver. .
